I could not get over how stunning the view was during my stay. The room was clean, spacious and cozy and in a perfect location to explore all Crested Butte has to offer. This was the best AirBNB I have stayed at in CB yet!

A great spot for a weekend stay. Easy walking distance to base of the mountain which was great for hikes and biking. As well as easy access to free bus stop to town. A beautiful view to wake up to each morning. Kitchen was limited in pans, easy for making our own breakfasts but that was about it. Outdated with the furniture but otherwise I would stay here again.!

Compared to the other 2 units we stayed in over the past 6 months, this unit was surprisingly below the standard we had experienced before. Not sure how to find out who owns vs. property manages these units. We did not book all 3 of those stays on Airbnb, maybe that is what matters. This unit could use some TLC for sure. The place was clean, overall and ready upon arrival. The appliances worked! The view was great, but when the window was open, we could hear the drone of the city buses visiting the transport station. There were a lot fewer businesses open at the base than we experienced during ski season, but Main Street is a short drive. We love Crested Butte—paddle boarding at Lake Irwin was spectacular—and look forward to our next visit!

We are a short distance from the town of Crested Butte where Elk Avenue provides a great place to shop, dine, visit historic buildings and art galleries. The area offers outdoor activities in all seasons! It is a great place to enjoy hiking, biking, rafting, skiing, and snowshoeing. The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport is a 45-minute drive from the Grand Lodge. Landmarks and attractions are easily accessible and the resort is just a 5 min walk away!

You may see pets on the 4th and 5th floors, however if an owner is staying in their unit, then they are allowed to have a pet (this is the buildings policy and has nothing to do with Traverse Hospitality ).
