PROS- responsive host, great location for dog owners, right by the town shuttle, fine if you want a no frills ski condo for max 2 people CONS- The WiFi is a real problem. We could not use it to do any work or stream a movie at night. The TVs are very old and have the brightness turned down so far they are dark & unwatchable. TV menu does not allow brightness to be adjusted. Furniture is extremely old. I did not expect much as this place accepts dogs- but the furniture is not comfortable at all. The "couch" does not have a back and only works if leaning up against the murphy bed. It only seats 2 and the other two chairs in the home are not for relaxing at all. Kitchen- the coffee maker has Keurig or grounds option. We brought some grounds- but the coffee maker would not work on that setting. There is only 1 burner on the stove so hard to make a meal. The light next to the sofa had a cord cut in half and did not work.

Incredible host and space! Comfortable, spacious, clean, easy check-in, great pool and hot tub in building. Parking was easy. Just a perfect base camp for a weekend in CB. Highly recommended. We will be back!

The Grand Lodge sits at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort in Mt. Crested Butte, a 3-minute walk from the Red Lady Express lift and the base-area shops and restaurants. Historic downtown Crested Butte and Elk Avenue — known for art galleries, breweries, and dining — are 6 minutes away by car or the complimentary town shuttle. The area is a four-season destination: world-class skiing and snowboarding in winter, and hiking, mountain biking, and rafting in summer, with major trailheads 5–25 minutes from the door. Gunnison–Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) is about a 40-minute drive.
