The Painted Lady is a Victorian four-bedroom home a block off Harrison Avenue in downtown Leadville, built for a large family or two families traveling together. It sleeps ten across four bedrooms and seven beds, with two full bathrooms (one with a jacuzzi tub), a well-equipped kitchen with gas range, a formal dining room for group meals, and a pet-friendly fenced backyard. Restaurants, shops, and the Mineral Belt trailheads are a short walk away; Ski Cooper and Copper Mountain are about 25 minutes. Listed with @BookTraverse.

Spacious home, plenty of room for my large family including big dining room table. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking and serving meals. There is a washer and dryer if you need it (kids present, so useful). Had fenced backyard for dogs. One block to main street where you can walk everywhere, including to bike/walking paths. Natasha was really great; very responsive! Note: "Victorian" isn't my preferred style nor are old homes that squeak and are not perfect. But the space, location, and amenities make up for it!

Natasha was very responsive. Place was in the heart of downtown Leadville. An old house but clean and comfortable for a large group.

Watching the riders and horses just outside the window as we took a break for lunch at the house during skijoring was such a fun experience!! Incredible location!!

This was such an amazing experience! Our stay was so cozy and comfortable. The house itself was so large and spacious, a great place to spend quality time with friends and family. The location as well is great, being able to walk to all the local restaurants and stores. Plus, you are surrounded by so many outdoor activities! Natasha was an incredible host as well. We are excited to come back soon!

Elbert and Mt. Massive trailheads (about 26 min) — Colorado's two highest peaks - Fall-color bike rides, fly fishing, snowshoeing — there's something every season

This is a historic Victorian — it creaks, the floors aren't level, and that's part of staying in a 19th-century home. Kid gear (crib, high chair, gate) is provided. The garage is for bike/ski storage, not vehicles.
After heavy snow, watch for snow-removal signs on street parking.
