The Hilltop Suite is a modern 2-bedroom condo perched on Leadville's hilltop with framed views of Mt Massive and Mt Elbert — Colorado's two tallest peaks. The Hilltop Suite sits directly on the Leadville Race Series 100-mile bike and run course — a perk for athletes, a fun curiosity for everyone else. Within walking distance: Main Street restaurants, the brewery, the mining museum, the Mineral Belt Trail trailhead. A few things worth knowing upfront:
- No A/C. Leadville rarely needs it — open windows do the work even in July.
- Altitude is real. Leadville is 10,152 ft. Hydrate, take it easy day one, and consider travel insurance if you're prone to altitude sickness — we can't refund altitude-related early checkouts.
- Quiet hours 10 PM–8 AM. There are neighbors above; please be considerate.
- Pets: $60 pet fee, 2 pets max. Pets cannot be left unattended at the property — there are local doggy daycare options if you need them.
- Mountain wildlife: occasional small critters and insects come with the territory. Keep doors closed and you won't notice them.
- Wide steps down to the unit. Manageable for most guests but not step-free.
