The Hilltop Suite is a modern 2-bedroom condo perched on Leadville's hilltop with framed views of Mt Massive and Mt Elbert — Colorado's two tallest peaks. Four blocks to Main Street, fenced yard for the dog, EV charger out front, and a stand-up desk for the morning emails before you head to the trailhead. Listed with @BookTraverse. Myself and a couple friends stayed a couple days here while we were hiking outside of Leadville. Clean, comfy place to stay, and the location allowed us to walk downtown very easily.

My family meets centrally once a year and we enjoyed Leadville. This picturesque town has everything you could need. We spent the evening unwinding and enjoying the views in the ground floor unit. The suite included modern finishes, cozy bedrooms and even a dog door out to a fenced area. Working remotely was a breeze too. Thank you, Host!

great place! I dont like indoors pets so probably not the best pick for me. it was clean just had some allergies flare up

This is a very nice, private apartment unit in a quadruplex - two bedrooms, nice living area with TV and computer monitor, well stocked kitchen. Bathroom very clean and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable. Gorgeous view of mountains including Mt Elbert. Pet friendly, a bonus is a pet door going to a secure fenced area that our dog loved. There is also a nice dog park a couple blocks away. Living area is heated by an electric fireplace. Easy walk to downtown. Has a reserved parking spot behind. Would definitely stay there again.

My family of 4 (including our dog!) stayed here for the weekend. It had a great location, close and walkable to the main street. Good views, a good kitchen, a good layout, and was good for pets. We would stay here again!

A few things worth knowing upfront:
- No A/C. Leadville rarely needs it — open windows do the work even in July.
- Altitude is real. Leadville is 10,152 ft. Hydrate, take it easy day one, and consider travel insurance if you're prone to altitude sickness — we can't refund altitude-related early checkouts.
- Quiet hours 10 PM–8 AM. There are neighbors above; please be considerate.
- Pets: $60 pet fee, 2 pets max. Pets cannot be left unattended at the property — there are local doggy daycare options if you need them.
- Mountain wildlife: occasional small critters and insects come with the territory. Keep doors closed and you won't notice them.
- Wide steps down to the unit. Manageable for most guests but not step-free.
