Our stay was good overall. The contactless check in directions were thorough and easy to understand. This made it convenient & easy for arrival as we had never made the drive before and weren't sure exactly when we'd arrive. I also like that there weren't a whole bunch of rules as can be typical sometimes (although we did do our normal things of gathering trash, towels etc. before departing). The room was spacious and we loved the kitchenette. Worst part of the room was the sheets felt very plastic-like & with the temp of the room being as warm as it was, it felt like they just stuck to your skin. The only other thing we disliked was that because there was no front desk during the off season people treated it as a free for all. There were always people in the lobby/ parking lot drinking alcohol, kids yelling and running around the pool/ hotel. Because of this, we didn't go down to the pool even once and couldn't open the windows to let the cool air in.

Nice launchpad at the base of Mount Crested Butte. Beautiful area with lots to do in nature. Great pool for kids.

Comfortable accommodations and the kitchenette was nice to have. Everything was as described. Also, it was a great location to get to everything and the bus stops right near the building for a convenient ride to downtown.

We are a short distance from the town of Crested Butte where Elk Avenue provides a great place to shop, dine, visit historic buildings and art galleries. The area offers outdoor activities in all seasons! It is a great place to enjoy hiking, biking, rafting, skiing, and snowshoeing. The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport is a 45-minute drive from the Grand Lodge. Landmarks and attractions are easily accessible and the resort is just a 5 min walk away!
