A recently renovated studio in the Grand Lodge at the base of Mt. Crested Butte — a short walk to the ski lifts, with quality furnishings and a cook-in kitchenette. A king bed and a brand-new king pull-out sofa sleep four, with a full bathroom and a kitchenette (stove, mini fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker). Guests use the building's indoor and outdoor heated pools, hot tub, gym, and fireplace lobby. Parking is free and check-in is self-serve by keypad.

Chris was a great host. They provided clear and accurate check-in/out information that made it easy to figure out. There was an issue with our first unit that they found before our arrival. They contacted me right away and switched us to a different unit and even left us a gift card for the inconvenience. Truly amazing experience and service all together. The unit was nicely updated and had everything you could need. The building is in a nice and quiet area but close enough to all the great food that CB has to offer. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Very easy and great location for a quick weekend trip! This place is walkable to trails, coffee shops, restaurants, and other resorts in the area. It was very clean and comfortable inside. A little warm but there were fans available!

Overall, the place was as described in the posting as far as what was in the rental and amenities. Chris was responsive when we had concerns. The entire place used to be a hotel, so there was some noise from the hall and the wifi had a poor signal, so everything was pretty slow. The bed was mostly comfortable.

Had to book a last minute stay in CB for work and Chris was super communicative and quick to respond! The room was very nice and clean and was perfect for my stay.

The Grand Lodge sits at the base of Mt. Crested Butte, a short walk from the Crested Butte Mountain Resort lifts, with shops and dining right at the Red Lady Express base and the free town shuttle stopping steps away (it runs to town about every 15 minutes). Summer trails leave from the base, and a convenience store and coffee are close by. Historic downtown Crested Butte and its Elk Avenue — galleries, restaurants, and preserved Old West architecture — are about a seven-minute drive. The area is a year-round outdoor base: skiing and snowshoeing in winter; hiking, mountain biking, rafting, and wildflower season in summer. The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) is about a 45-minute drive.
