A pet-friendly suite in the Grand Lodge at the base of Mt. Crested Butte — a short walk to the ski lifts and the town shuttle stop. The suite has a separate king bed area and a sofa bed in the living room, sleeping four, with a full bathroom (tub) and a cook-in kitchenette (stove, mini fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker). Guests use the building's indoor and outdoor heated pools, hot tub, gym, and fireplace lobby. Dogs are genuinely welcome (Up to 2 pets max, $50 fee), parking is free, and check-in is self-serve by keypad. Listed with @BookTraverse

I wish I would’ve booked through the actual “resort”. It’s the same thing but cleaner and cheaper. Some of the room lights didn’t work, and the mini fridge, the cable TV, and the no oven, the non working jets in the hot tub, and the hot room isn’t what I expected after how much I paid for the room. But the bed was comfy and Chris was nice and responsive. The free shuttle was helpful and the area was pretty and clean.

Seamless check in process. Useful amenities at the complex, and the location is prime for any activity you’d want to do in Crested Butte given its close proximity to every thing!

Very nice lodge and the room is very spacious. My pup had a peaceful stay after all the hikes and town hopping. Easy to get in and get out into the town area. Host is very responsive and friendly. We had a cool stay with all the amenities included.

The Grand Lodge sits at the base of Mt. Crested Butte, a short walk from the Crested Butte Mountain Resort lifts, with the free town shuttle stop only a couple of minutes away. The surrounding base village has a coffee shop, restaurants, a convenience store, and rental outfitters at the doorstep, plus open ground nearby for dog walks. Historic downtown Crested Butte and its Elk Avenue — galleries, restaurants, and preserved Old West architecture — are about a seven-minute drive, with the free shuttle running between the mountain and town. The area is a year-round outdoor base: skiing and snowshoeing in winter; hiking, mountain biking, rafting, and wildflower season in summer. The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) is about a 45-minute drive.
