This was an excellent, cozy stay located at the base of the Ski Resort. Prefect for our first trip to Crested Butte. There is free and easy transportation shuttle to/from the Gunnison Airport and downtown Crested Butte with easy access to bars/shops/restaurants. Would recommend to anyone looking to explore the area as first timers, or for a return visit.

We are a short distance from the town of Crested Butte where Elk Avenue provides a great place to shop, dine, visit historic buildings and art galleries. The area offers outdoor activities in all seasons! It is a great place to enjoy hiking, biking, rafting, skiing, and snowshoeing. The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport is a 45-minute drive from the Grand Lodge. Landmarks and attractions are easily accessible and the resort is just a 5 min walk away!
