Josephine is a restored four-bedroom Victorian a block off Harrison Avenue in downtown Leadville, built for a family or two families traveling together. It sleeps eight across four queen bedrooms and two bathrooms, with an updated eat-in kitchen, a formal dining room, a living room, a TV den, an upstairs living room, and a wood-paneled library to spread out in — plus an outdoor hot tub. Restaurants, shops, and the Mineral Belt trailheads are a short walk; Ski Cooper and Copper Mountain are about 25 minutes. Listed with @BookTraverse.

We had our family of 8 (kids plus significant others - all adults) and the house is big enough with enough space that we all could have our own space if wanted but nice common areas that we could all hang out together. The house is located two blocks from the Main Street of downtown which makes it very convenient to walk to shops and restaurants. The house also has a very nice front porch that is relaxing to sit on and watch the world go by. It’s a very quiet street in a nice neighborhood. The hot tub in the back yard is very private and one of the nicest I have ever been in. Holds 6 pretty easy. Overall a great place to stay at Leadville - which is a fun town and close to many activities. The folks who manage the house are extremely responsive at all times. If I asked a question or needed something they responded immediately and took care of what I needed. Excellent customer service. A real person and not an AI agent stringing you along. Would definitely stay again in that house.

Not good from start to finish- entered at 12:30 am with fire alarm chirping due to lack to maintenance inside and out. after 2 messages still No response from host for 7 hours causing very sleepless night. The place was not cleaned. Floors littered with debris- not swept or mopped, dirty cleaning rag left on bookshelf, dusty dirty surfaces in bathroom and laundry room. The lively backyard pictured in promo was ghetto not at all as pictured with partially collapsed fence with metal and wood trash on ground. Yard had weeds and high grass all around including hot tub area littered with dog toys , garden hose and previous users water toys. All this within 7 hours , and we were do grossed out we left after asking for refund and other accommodations. None offered , had to find motel . Host has refused to refund all our money , awaiting if AirBND will force them to be better. Never use this company and if AirBND doesn’t come through with all our $, will never use them again either.

Leadville, Colorado, United States
Josephine sits a block off Harrison Avenue in Leadville's National Historic Landmark District — restaurants, coffee, museums, galleries, and shops are a short walk, and so are the Mineral Belt Trail access points. From the door: - Ski Cooper (15 min) and Copper Mountain (25 min) for lift days; Vail, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Beaver Creek are 30–50 min - Turquoise Lake (12 min) for paddling, fishing, and shoreline sunsets - Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive trailheads (about 26 min) — Colorado's two highest peaks - Fall-color bike rides, fly fishing, snowshoeing, and the Leadville train — something every season

Not pet friendly.
No A/C. Elevation is 10,152 ft — hydrate on day one; altitude sickness is real and not refundable.
The fireplace shown in photos adds character but is no longer operable and cannot be used.
This is a restored Victorian — it creaks, floors aren't perfectly level, and that's part of a 19th-century home.
Parking is free but on-street and can be tight; in winter, keeping a space clear can take some shoveling. Plan accordingly.
A required mid-stay cleaning applies on stays longer than 15 days (details in the guidebook).
