Perfect preparation for our maroon bells hike. Wouldn’t change a thing.

My group did not actually get to stay here as there was a wildfire burning directly outside of Leadville at the time. At the time we were supposed to check in, the sky was still filled with smoke and air conditions were unsafe. I messaged the host as soon as I learned about the wildfire which was about a week before check in, and literally one hour after the partial refund deadline. The host/management company refused any sort of refund whatsoever, even with the situation being out of my hands. I am not the type of person to request unjustified refunds or leave bad reviews, but I would not recommend this place unless you are 100% happy with never getting your money back, even in extreme situations.

We loved our stay in Leadville and really enjoyed this BnB. The location was perfect and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We had a delightful stay at this fantastic property, literally just minutes walk away from shops, food, and the National Mining Museum. The hot tub was relaxing. The views breathtaking. Our vacation plan was altered somewhat by the Willow Fire nearby, but we were at all times safe and well informed. I would be delighted to visit again or recommend this spot to anyone

Some friends and I stayed at Chris’s for my birthday, and it is was exactly what we were looking for! It’s a great location, the space is clean and tidy, and they had everything on hand that you could possibly need. The hot tub was clean and well cared for and the backyard area provided a spot for all of us to hang out. As a host, Chris was incredibly responsive and allowed us to check in an hour early. When we come back to Leadville, this place is definitely at the top of our list.
