Old Saint Vincent Loft — a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom loft in a converted 1880s hospital, one minute walk from Main Street in Leadville, Colorado. 14-foot ceilings, exposed brick, massive windows, and a private infrared sauna in the master bedroom. Excellent! We ll decorated and furnished - very homey & comfortable - Alex as a host was very responsive and accommodating, before & during our long stay of almost a month, including help relocate to a different unit due to availability. We are glad this historic building is preserved and so well decorated to make it so welcoming and comfortable to stay in. Alex even helped recommend alternate properties, prior to, in between and after our stays in 2 different units due to booking conflicts. We are definitely looking forward to our next stays in September for almost 3 weeks. Our one suggestion is for Alex to be available for direct phone calls or call backs. Text was the only way to communicate making it a bit impersonal and clumsy - especially for more complicated issues, like completing setup for wifi+AppleTV to access TV - Almost like working with a well trained AI Agent. To repeat, our stay was excellent, as was Alex, and we look forward to our Sept return stay for 3 week! Thx Alex

It’s a cute place and it looks exactly like the pictures online. It’s a bit worn but overall comfortable. The big fridge was out of commission so they provided a smaller one for us to use. It’s pretty clean but the various decorations collect a bunch of dust. It’s close to downtown and a big grocery store. We had a pretty good stay until we spotted a mouse the morning we were leaving. Not happy about that as, besides having shared a unit with a rodent, they also carry diseases. So place close attention when you check in. We notified the host company and they said they would tell their cleaners.

Wow! We booked last minute in Alex’s place and we were not disappointed. The beds were so comfortable and the place is gorgeous - highly recommend!

Old Saint Vincent Loft is one block from Main Street in the heart of Leadville — the highest incorporated city in North America at 10,152 feet. Walk to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and galleries in under two minutes. Leadville is surrounded by more 14,000-foot peaks than anywhere else in the Rockies. Ski Cooper is 12 minutes away, Copper Mountain 25 minutes, Breckenridge 35 minutes, and Vail 45 minutes. The Mineral Belt Trail starts nearby for hiking and mountain biking right from town.

Altitude: Leadville sits at 10,152 feet. Some guests experience dizziness or headaches the first day — hydrate, take it easy, and consider travel insurance. We're unable to offer refunds for altitude-related issues.
The building is a converted 1880s hospital — that's part of the character. Original wood floors may creak, and you may hear neighbors occasionally. Light sleepers: bring earplugs.

Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. We cannot offer refunds for guests experiencing altitude sickness. If you anticipate being affected, we recommend obtaining insurance at the time of booking
