The house was very nice and what we needed for our stay. We had to check out early just because we came to hike Mount Elbert and the trail was closed because of the fires. We were able to relax and aclimate to prepare for Quandary Peak. We wish Leadville well and hope to come back soon to hike Mount Elbert. Thank you

Wonderful stay, furnishing was very comfortable and was very walkable to the main street for dinners and shopping.

Nice place to stay in Leadville! This is a really cute house in the heart of town. Comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The kitchen was well appointed with pans and cooking utensils. The beds are comfortable. A real plus is the nice view of the mountains from the living room! The front of the house was dark when I arrived and I couldn't see the house number. And the code for the house was not provided in my airbnb communication, which was my go-to when I got to the house. So it took a few minutes to work out getting inside. There was an additional step to checking in that wasn't directly on the airbnb site and when I completed that step I was given the code. I jotted it down, but I couldn't find that piece of paper when I arrived at the house. It turns out that the host had texted it directly to me - I just didn't think to check my texts when I was searching the airbnb ap. Just a heads up to have the entry code handy before you walk up to the door....

Leadville’s Victorian homes were historically built quite close together in the days before the “horseless carriage.” As such, parking can sometimes be a challenge. In the winter, maintaining an open parking space can cost homeowners a significant amount of money and/or hours spent shoveling. Please take these things into consideration as you plan your trip, and be courteous to your local neighbors by trying to park directly in front of the home you have rented. Staying in the mountains offers a unique and nature-immersed experience, characterized by a rustic charm. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this.
