The condo was located in a great location and being on the 1st floor was very convenient. However, right outside our window was an almost constant running fan or compressor, as well as a loading area for the laundry truck, which created a lot of noise and not conducive to a peaceful environment. The room had multiple small issues like a leaky bathtub faucet that dripped continuously, a light bulb and fixture that wasn't installed correctly that I would have fixed but was afraid it might break further, and a drip coffee maker whose lid was broken and needed a weight to hold it down. The other big issues were that the jets in the hot tub didn't work and despite following the instructions and being patient the steam room didn't function either.

Really appreciate being able to bring our dog. Room was conveniently located on ground level and near an exit.

Great stay at this condo! Great amenities and close to lots in town!

Small, clean studio condo. Condo amenities were solid- hot tub, pool, gym, etc. Be aware that the kitchen area was like an extended stay kitchenette. But it was great value overall.

Crested Butte, Colorado, United States
Grand Lodge Crested Butte sits at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort in Mt. Crested Butte, the small ski village built around the lift base. The Red Lady Express lift, ski school, village shops, and restaurants like The Public House, Butte Bagels, and Avalanche Bar are a short walk from the front door. Butte & Co. Ski Rental and Storage is in the same complex for boot fittings and overnight gear storage. The free Mountain Express shuttle stops steps from the front door and runs every 15 minutes to historic downtown Crested Butte three miles south, where Elk Avenue holds the Victorian-era town's art galleries, breweries, restaurants, and the Saturday summer farmers market. Crested Butte Nordic Center, the Snodgrass hiking trailhead, and the Lower Loop mountain-biking network are all within a 10-minute drive. In summer and fall, Crested Butte Mountain Resort runs the Red Lady Express lift for hiking and biking, and the wildflower meadows around Washington Gulch and Schofield Pass are a short drive away.

. The studio sits at 9,375 ft elevation in Mt. Crested Butte; no air conditioning is provided since the village rarely needs cooling, and the studio has heat and a ceiling fan. Up to two dogs are welcome with a $50 pet fee per stay. The mini kitchenette has a single induction burner, microwave, mini fridge, dishwasher, sink, and Keurig — sized for breakfast and snacks rather than full meal preparation. Daily housekeeping is not included; a mid-stay linen turnover is available for $100 with at least 48 hours notice. The Grand Lodge is an older property, clean and well-maintained, with interiors that show some age. The HOA manages the pool, hot tub, gym, and steam room and may close amenities for maintenance without advance notice; short-term closures are not refundable. Altitude affects most lowland visitors — drink extra water and take it easy the first day.
