Studio ski suite at The Grand Lodge in Mt. Crested Butte, 100 yards from the lifts at the base of Crested Butte. Walk to first chair, then warm up in the year-round hot tub and heated indoor/outdoor pool — warm enough to use even on winter nights. Sleeps 4 on a king bed and a sofa sleeper, with a kitchenette, gym, steam room, ski storage, free parking, and EV charging in the building. Dog-friendly (Up to 2 pets max, $50 fee). The free town shuttle to downtown Crested Butte stops right outside.

Great home base to explore Crested Butte! Erin’s place was clean and as described. The WiFi worked best in the bedroom, which may impact those trying to work while on the go, but otherwise a great place. We would book again, especially for ski season. Thanks!

Unbeatable location and extremely dog friendly. The pool and hot tub were a nice reprieve after a trail race we did. Host was responsive when needed. Would stay here again.

Great place to stay in Crested Butte! The lodge is in a great area and has its own little restaurant on the first floor. The room was clean and our stay was great! Would stay here again

The Grand Lodge sits at the base of Crested Butte Ski Resort in Mt. Crested Butte, 100 yards from the lifts. The base area's restaurants, bars, and ski rental shops are a short walk in your boots. Historic downtown Crested Butte — Elk Avenue's shops, art galleries, and dining — is a 7-minute drive or a free town shuttle ride that stops right outside. In summer and fall, Crested Butte is wildflower, hiking, mountain-biking, and rafting country, with trailheads minutes from the door. Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) is about a 40-minute drive.

No air conditioning — Mt. Crested Butte stays cool year-round at 9,375 ft, and the windows open if you want air. Dog-friendly: up to 2 pets ($50 pet fee) Housekeeping is Airbnb-style — no daily linen service. A mid-stay turnover is available with 24-hour notice on request. The pool, hot tub, gym, and steam room are operated by the building's HOA. If one is temporarily down for maintenance, the timing isn't ours to control.
