Two adjoining 4th-floor rooms at the Grand Lodge — 100 yards from the Crested Butte ski lifts. Each room has a king bed, queen pullout sofa, full bathroom, and kitchenette. Sleeps 8 total. Walk 3 minutes to the lifts, soak in the year-round heated pool and hot tub after, and take the free shuttle to downtown Crested Butte. The Grand Lodge was built in 1999 — rooms are updated with modern comforts, though the building has character and shows its age in the common areas. One of the most affordable ski-in/ski-out options in Crested Butte with full resort amenities: gym, steam room, EV charging, and free parking. Listed with @BookTraverse

Kitchenette fully stocked & finishes updated in more aged hotel. Convenient walk to slopes & storage of gear with local shop. Pool & hot tub needed more cleaning, packed with users and dirty water thru stay.

Alex/Chloe were super responsive with questions and have a nicely updated two unit with adjoining door. Enjoyed the close proximity to the lifts and free shuttle service just steps from the entrance.

We had an amazing Christmas stay at this condo and would absolutely come back again. The true ski-in/ski-out access made getting on and off the mountain incredibly easy, which was a huge win with kids and all the gear. Our family especially enjoyed the hot tubs and heated pool after a full day of skiing, and the mountain and village views made it feel extra festive for Christmas. The location was also fantastic for accessing restaurants, shops, and rentals, so we rarely needed to drive anywhere. Communication with the host was clear and prompt from start to finish, and check-in was seamless. This place checked every box for a comfortable, family-friendly mountain getaway, and we would highly recommend it to anyone.

The rooms were clean and well managed, and exactly as described. The only faults we had were ourselves not reading the directions well enough for door codes which was not any fault of the owners. They were very communicative and available as needed throughout.

Good stay. The heated outside pool was the highlight for the kids. It was strange not having anyone to check in with at a hotel, but it worked fine. The lack of AC was a surprise despite it being listed in the description, but the supplied fan worked out great.

The Grand Lodge sits at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort in Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado — 100 yards from the ski lifts. Walk 3 minutes to the chairlift from the front door. The free town shuttle stops steps from the entrance and runs to downtown Crested Butte (Elk Avenue) in 6 minutes, where you'll find restaurants like Marchitelli's Gourmet Noodle, The Brick Oven, and Bonez Tequila Bar, plus galleries, shops, and historic buildings from Crested Butte's coal mining era. In summer, the area transforms into one of Colorado's premier mountain biking and hiking destinations — the Evolution Bike Park is accessible from the resort, and trailheads for hikes ranging from easy wildflower walks to 14er summits are 5–25 minutes away. The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) is a 40-minute drive, with seasonal direct flights from major hubs.
