Stay in the main unit of the 1893 mansion built by Colorado Governor Jesse McDonald, half a block from Main Street in downtown Leadville. Four bedrooms sleep eight across a king suite with jetted tub, two queen rooms, and a bunk room — with a billiard room, infrared sauna, two full kitchens, two living rooms, and a private office to spread out in. Pet friendly and walkable to restaurants, shops, and museums, it's a group base for Ski Cooper, Copper Mountain, and Turquoise Lake. Listed with @BookTraverse.

Relaxing Mountain getaway

wonderful place. Wonderful host. Really no other place that comes remotely close. Really enjoyed our stay, and Nadim was very caring. How they can keep such a vintage home so clean is beyond me. A treat

Great place to stay before summiting Mt. Massive

Spent 7 days in Leadville and this lovely home. It's HUGE and has such great character, classic home soul. Two kitchens (small in-law kitchen), and multiple levels. The yard is fenced if you have a pup joining you. Less than a block from restaurants and shops. The home is older and comes with the qualities of classic home, dentil molding, baby grand staircase, but the amenities have been updated, bathrooms, kitchen etc. We enjoyed our time in Leadville and our evenings and mornings in this really cool old home. We plan on returning and staying here again - great for large families/groups!

Great host. House was close to Main Street for easy access. House was spacious for our big group. Responsive host with clear check in and check out instructions. Would stay here again!

Small hiccup upon checkin which was 100% my fault, Chris was super responsive and was able to guide us through the process.
