Chris’s apartment had everything we needed and more for a comfortable launchpad to continue through kebler pass. The pool and hot tub were clutch in getting the five hr drive jitters out at the end of the day. We found the tiny kitchen was everything we needed for keeping our refrigerated stuff cold and the toaster oven/air fryer was perfect for heating up leftovers from the night before.

Convenient location for us coming and going to ride bikes up Gothic basin and then also use of the DH park. Bike storage is at Butte & Co., a smaller boutique at the base of the lift. If wanting bikes before 9 am (ish, varied each day depending on when the shop owner planned to open), then you would need to figure out your own storage plan since they don’t allow bikes in the Lodge. No AC made for some warm nights in the heat wave

Chris’s place was perfect for us to explore Crested Butte. It’s in great proximity to all the major hikes and the town itself, and was full of all the amenities we needed. It was also very clean. Chris was very accommodating and responsive, making us feel at home. I’d stay again whenever I come back to the area!!

We are a short distance from the town of Crested Butte where Elk Avenue provides a great place to shop, dine, visit historic buildings and art galleries. The area offers outdoor activities in all seasons! It is a great place to enjoy hiking, biking, rafting, skiing, and snowshoeing. The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport is a 45-minute drive from the Grand Lodge. Landmarks and attractions are easily accessible and the resort is just a 5 min walk away!

Please note: we do not do daily linen service like a traditional hotel (this is Airbnb style). However, if you'd like a turnover to be done during your stay, please give us a 24 notice so we can coordinate with the cleaner. There is an extra cost for this, which is $100.
-Unfortunately, the HOA does not allow pets on the 4th floor. You may see pets, however if an owner is staying in their unit, then they are allowed to have a pet (this is the buildings policy and has nothing to do with Traverse Hospitality ).
