A wheelchair-accessible, pet-friendly room in the Grand Lodge at the base of Mt. Crested Butte — a short, step-free walk to the ski lifts via elevator, with the free town shuttle stop steps away. The room has an accessible-height king bed (sleeping two), a couch for lounging, a full accessible bathroom (grab rails, roll-under sink, accessible-height toilet), and a cook-in kitchenette with a stove, mini fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker. Guests use the building's indoor and outdoor heated pools, hot tub, gym, and fireplace lobby. Dogs are genuinely welcome, parking is free, and check-in is self-serve by keypad.

As advertised. I had an enjoyable stay.

Stayed here with my spouse and our dog. The area is beautiful right at the base of the ski resort. I rode my bike right to the lift. Lots of great hiking trails close by too (my favs were Meridian Lake and Woods Trail). Lots of good stores and restaurants around. My spouse used the hot tub a lot. Kitchenette is small but good to make coffee and eggs and to keep your drinks cold. I liked this room because it had a comfy living room seperate from the comfy bedroom which stays dark in the morning and you can easily sleep in in the king bed. Oh and the laundry room is right down the hall and you can use quarters ($2.75 each) or just scan the QR code on the machine and pay with your phone. Have fun! We did!

This location was so great! You are so close to trails, and just a 5min drive to the main street. Up the road are a few wonderful lookouts that are incredible to watch the sunset! Loved it!

The Grand Lodge sits at the base of Mt. Crested Butte, a short and mostly step-free walk from the Crested Butte Mountain Resort lifts, with the free town shuttle stop right next to the building. The surrounding base village has a coffee shop, restaurants, a convenience store, and rental outfitters at the doorstep, plus open ground nearby for dog walks. Historic downtown Crested Butte and its Elk Avenue — galleries, restaurants, and preserved Old West architecture — are about a seven-minute drive, with the free shuttle running between the mountain and town. The area is a year-round outdoor base: skiing and snowshoeing in winter; hiking, mountain biking, rafting, and wildflower season in summer. The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) is about a 45-minute drive.

- Pools, hot tub, and gym are run by the building's HOA and can close for maintenance without notice.
