A wheelchair-accessible, pet-friendly studio in the Grand Lodge at the base of Mt. Crested Butte — a short, step-free walk to the ski lifts via elevator. The room has an accessible-height king bed, a sofa for lounging, a full accessible bathroom (grab rails, roll-under sink, accessible-height toilet), and a kitchenette. It sleeps two. Guests use the building's indoor and outdoor heated pools, hot tub, gym, and fireplace lobby. Dogs are genuinely welcome, parking is free, and check-in is self-serve by keypad.

I always enjoy staying at Chris’s place. It’s convenient, easy access to lots of trails, and easy access to the the quick bus ride to town.

We loved our stay. Great place if you’re skiing and the heated pool was a plus. Definitely going back

The place is perfect for a small getaway from city-life. Everything was as described, and the hosts were very friendly and attentive to making your stay enjoyable. The room is close to the elevator so you hear folks walk about in the morning; it's audible but not disruptive. Would definitely return just for the room and the hosts!

The unit was great and suited our needs for skiing at Crested Butte. I'd stayed there before at another unit so was familiar with the location. The only issue was, we happened to hit it at a time when the building maintenance needed to do repairs on the water system. Erin communicated this with us prior to the visit and during, but turned out it was a no hot water issue from the evening before, and the water was on all that day Feb 25th. Erin and Natasha kept us updated as best they could.

Curtains didn’t cover the windows, the carpet and some of the furniture needs to be updated, the shower doesn’t work properly and the sink is perfect for a hospital not a condo

Crested Butte, Colorado, United States
The Grand Lodge sits at the base of Mt. Crested Butte, a short and mostly step-free walk from the Crested Butte Mountain Resort lifts, with the free town shuttle stop only a couple of minutes away. The surrounding base village has a coffee shop, restaurants, a convenience store, and rental outfitters at the doorstep, plus open ground nearby for dog walks. Historic downtown Crested Butte and its Elk Avenue — galleries, restaurants, and preserved Old West architecture — are about a seven-minute drive, with the free shuttle running between the mountain and town. The area is a year-round outdoor base: skiing and snowshoeing in winter; hiking, mountain biking, rafting, and wildflower season in summer. The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) is about a 45-minute drive.
Free cancellation up to 14 days before check-in. Within 14 days, the reservation is non-refundable.
