The mattress at this AirBNB needs to be replaced, as noted in other reviews, and is the reason for my 3 stars. My partner and I slid into each other the first night due to the lack of support and concave shape and struggled to sleep. After the first night, we placed a blanket under the middle of the mattress, folded a few times (we tried a few arrangements), and the next two nights were much better. Other than the bed, the place is exactly as the photos show: it's a little funky but functional, the shower exits to the room, and the bathroom floors are uneven. The location is good and I thought the furniture was well chosen to make it easy to tuck away luggage.

We truly enjoyed our stay, it is so close to town we walked to everything! Plus the bed was super comfy, a big plus for me!

We scheduled our stay so we could attend a motocross event nearby. There were no vacancies in town because the fire crews were staying there. So we chose Chris’ place. Because of the smoke, fires and the lack of water at the event it was canceled. This was a week before our stay. We canceled our room. Refund was denied. Not very professional. $600+ for nothing.

Location couldn't be better! A short 3 min walk to main street for shopping and restaurants. Place small but tidy and well organized. Check in & out was very easy and flexible. Shower is small and water needs to run for a few minutes before it gets hot. Otherwise, it works great for it's intended purpose. 🙂 Bed is room for a queen but it's probably time they got a new mattress as it says to the middle quite a bit. I felt like I was sleeping in a taco shell at times. It was fairly comfortable though. Communication throughout was great and everything was very clear.

Avoid parking in front of neighbors' houses on East 8th Street
Ample parking available on Poplar Street; diagonal parking on 8th Street across the building
During heavy snow, watch for snow removal signs to avoid violating temporary parking rules or getting towed
Trash: Use the 3 green Waste Management bins on the North side of the building; kindly clean up after pets and dispose of trash properly to prevent odors and messes.
