Cute and perfect for our daughter’s 12 year old birthday weekend with her bestie - they LOVED the loft bedroom and thought the bunk bed was divine. We adults appreciated the stylish remodeling of the cabin, but the only two drawbacks were there was no tv in the master bedroom for us (there’s one in the upstairs loft only) and that the living room sofa was not comfortable at all - definitely not for resting/reclining on. The location is private and surrounded by nature, and requires an SUV to get to easily as it is on a dirt road, but it’s not within walking distance to Twin Lakes and is pretty rustic around - think basic cabins, tents, and sheds on neighboring lots - but very nice neighbors who wave but keep to themselves. We spent Memorial Day weekend there, appreciated the ability to drive Independence Pass to Aspen one bougie day, another day spent in Leadville enjoying a more historical experience. We always loved making “home” and greatly appreciated the reasonable price.

The cabin is located in a truly beautiful setting, surrounded by nature and breathtaking views. The location is exceptional and offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the peace and charm of the area. Unfortunately, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Upon arrival, we had the impression that the cabin had not been thoroughly cleaned for quite some time. There were grease marks on the kitchen cabinets, dust on the lamp above the dining table, fingerprints on the glass of the front door, and cobwebs in the corners, along with a few dead insects and dust along the baseboards. This is a real shame, because with such a stunning and charming property, greater attention to cleanliness would significantly improve the overall experience.
