Studio condo at the Grand Lodge, at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort in Mt. Crested Butte. It's under a 5-minute walk to the Red Lady Express lift, with a heated indoor/outdoor pool, large hot tub, and steam room on site for après-ski recovery. The studio has a king bed in a separate sleeping nook plus a queen sofa bed, sleeping 4, and a kitchenette for breakfast before first chair. A free shuttle runs to historic downtown Crested Butte every 15 minutes, so no car is needed once you arrive.

Great location! This unit was perfect for making breakfast before hitting the slopes and having a lunch break. We explored downtown for dinner. I liked that this unit had a separate sitting area with a comfortable couch in front of the TV. Other units did not appear to have this layout. Be sure to take advantage of the ski drop at Butte and Co. at the end of the ski day!!

The Grand Lodge sits in Mt. Crested Butte at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. The Red Lady Express lift, ski school, rentals, shops, and restaurants are a short walk from the building. A free shuttle runs every 15 minutes to historic downtown Crested Butte, about 10 minutes away, where you'll find Elk Avenue's restaurants, breweries, galleries, and shops. In summer, Crested Butte is the wildflower capital of Colorado, with lift-served mountain biking, hiking trails, and fishing nearby. Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) is about 40 minutes south, and the town of Gunnison — the nearest full-service hub — is roughly 30 minutes away.
