Altitude (9,375 ft): Thin air means ~70% of sea-level oxygen. New arrivals may feel mild fatigue, headaches, or shortness of breath for 24–48 hours. We recommend easy activity on day one, plenty of water, and a good night's sleep. Locals and repeat visitors adjust within hours. If altitude sickness persists (severe headache, nausea), descend to a lower elevation or see a local doctor.

Weather & What to Pack:

- Winter (Nov–April): 30–45°F highs, regular snow (base depths 100–200 inches). Bring winter coat, ski/snowboard gear (rent locally if you don't have), hand/foot warmers, sunscreen (UV strong at altitude).

- Summer (June–August): 60–75°F highs, cool nights (40s), afternoon thunderstorms common. Rain jacket, layers, sturdy hiking boots, sunscreen, sunglasses.

- Spring & Fall: Unpredictable. Snow can fall into June; early snow in September. Always bring layers and a waterproof jacket.

- No smoking indoors; outdoor areas only (designated spots)

- No unregistered occupants beyond your party

- Return keys/keypad code to front desk on checkout

Cancellations & Refunds: See your booking platform's cancellation policy. Travel insurance is optional but recommended, especially for winter travel (weather delays, illness).
