Fourteenth Street House is a pet-friendly, two-bedroom home on East 14th Street in downtown Leadville, Colorado, a block off Harrison Avenue. It sleeps up to four guests across two bedrooms, each furnished with two twin beds — a layout that suits families with children or a group of four friends. The home's standout feature is its fenced backyard with a deck: a safe, enclosed space for a dog and a spot for morning coffee or an evening drink. Inside, a full kitchen with an island, a living room with Roku and Netflix, and an in-home washer and dryer round out a comfortable, budget-friendly base. Free parking is available on the premises and on the street. The location sits in the quieter north end of downtown Leadville, a block off Harrison Avenue, with the restaurants, shops, and bars a short walk south. Lake Turquoise is about 12 minutes away; Ski Cooper and Copper Mountain are each about 25 minutes; Vail, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Beaver Creek are 30–50 minutes east. This is an efficient, budget-friendly home rather than a large rental — the bedrooms hold twin beds rather than queens, there is one bathroom, and the kitchen has no dishwasher. No air conditioning — the 10,152 ft elevation keeps nights in the 40s–50s even in mid-summer. Pet-friendly. Managed by Traverse Hospitality.

host was great. awesome cozy home in a great location :)

I've now stayed here 3 times I believe. It fits well with my requirements and is comparably inexpensive. Modern/updated kitchen. Lots of space and a fenced yard in back. Most of the typical amenities that one expects. Homey decorations and has the standard Leadville charm that most places here have. I highly recommend.

Everything was just like the pictures. The home was nice and clean with an excellent kitchen for cooking our meals. This was home base during a ski trip and I would gladly stay again next year. The hosts were very responsive, we had an issue in the bathroom and they had a plumber in the next day while we were at the mountain. Thank You!

Great location, clean house, and responsive host.

We did not have much interaction with the host at the beginning of our stay and that was ok as we did not need assistance. However, at the end of the stay, the pipes froze and I was happy that the host responded timely and worked tirelessly to resolve the issue.

You might occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife, insects, and small critters that are part of the natural surroundings. We recommend keeping doors securely closed whenever possible. Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants.
