The location of The Mountain Hideaway is one of the main reasons we chose to settle in here - it's amazing! You're only 1 block from Harrison Street, Leadville's Main Street, but the neighborhood itself is quiet, peaceful and safe. The lodge has a huge yard with multiple decks, and plenty of parking. We're just a block from Main Street in downtown Leadville and less than an hour's drive from many of the best ski slopes, 14ers, and hikes in Colorado. Ski Cooper and Copper Mountain are the best choice for exciting snow activities!

Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. We cannot offer refunds for guests experiencing altitude sickness. If you anticipate being affected, we recommend obtaining insurance at the time of booking.
